The Sierra Club has released the top 10 green schools and colleges of 2009. To create the rankings for its "Cool Schools" story, Sierra has sent a questionnaire to sustainability experts at hundreds of schools, covering the categories of efficiency, energy, academics, food, purchasing, waste management, transportation, and administration.
